In game 5 against the New York Rangers, Sidney Crosby was knocked out of the game by a elbow to the head from Rangers Jacob Trouba.

It was reported yesterday that Crosby was skating, but not with the team as he was possibly diagnosed with a concussion.

The Penguins were forced to play without their captain last night for game 6 and despite having a 2-0 lead in the game, they managed to lose 5-3. Game 7 is in Sunday night and things are sounds good for the Penguins as it was reported today that Crosby is practicing with the team.

Penguins head coach had this to say about Sidney Crosby today:

"He's in good spirits. He's in a good place. He's doing his very best to get himself back and ready as quickly as he can. We'll see how that process goes."
