40-Goal Scorer To Be Traded By Canadian Team Very Soon

The Calgary Flames are going to be getting all the attention come the trade deadline, as they have been heavily reported to be shopping several of their defensemen already. Now, it has been reported that they have added star forward Elias Lindholm to that list.

Lindholm has 23 points to start the season, with 8 goals and 15 assists. He has 536 career points in 776 games.

The Flames aren't necessarily having the worst season this year, sitting in the middle of the pack in the standings. However, it's clear that they need to reform their roster, and new GM Craig Conroy clearly wants to build for the long term.
