Rangers rookie Matt Rempe has made a name for himself since earning his first NHL call up. However, things are starting to get out of hand as he just received his second major penalty for a dirty hit.

Rempe Ejected For Elbow To The Head On Devils Player

The play came against Devils Defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler, who was dumping the puck into the offensive zone for a dump and change. Rempe caught him up high, appearing to deliberately lift his elbow to make contact with the defender's head.
5 minutes for elbowing and a game misconduct for Matt Rempe.
Another angle of the play does not help Rempe's case.
