New York Rangers rookie Matt Rempe has quickly become a household name in the hockey world through his willingness to fight anyone at anytime. However, the 21-year-old appears to be starting to take his health more seriously as he just turned down a fight.

Rempe Turns Down Fight Against Devils Defenseman

The Rangers are playing their rivals in the New Jersey Devils tonight. During the contest, Devils defenseman Kurtis MacDermid challenged him to a fight but the young center turned him down.
MacDermid wanted to go but Rempe did not oblige 👀
That being said, we have seen Rempe turn down a fight once already in his career only to go later in the same game. This happened when the Rangers visited the Leafs in Toronto. As such, many fans are now watching the game in anticipation that Rempe and MacDermid could drop the gloves later.
be sure to stay tuned to see if Rempe drops them again or if he shows a little more restraint in his temperament.
