Just 5 minutes into the Toronto Maple Leafs game against the Philadelphia Flyers Ryan Reaves and Nic Deslauriers were looking to gain momentum for their team. The two found themselves on the ice against one another and decided to go at it in a major fight.
Deslauriers would control most of the fight taking down Reaves in convincing fashion and shifting momentum his team's way in the process.
As a result of the brutal fight, Ryan Reaves needed to receive medical attention. He sustained an injury to his eye that ended up with his eye being swollen shut.
