The Boston Bruins traded for Pat Maroon at the trade deadline and we are now watching him do what he was traded for as he sent Maple Leaf's defenseman Timothy Liljegren flying.
During the first period of tonight's game between the Leafs and Bruins, Pat Maroon backed up his trash talk by sending Timothy Liljegren flying.
Maroon has won three Stanley Cups before and plays like this are a large part of championship-caliber teams. It is now on the Leafs and their enforcer Ryan Reaves to respond to Maroon's hit.
With more than two periods remaining, we will certainly see more tonight and if not tonight, later on in the series.
