Mark Stone's wife goes viral for posing with fan wearing LTIR jersey
Mark Stone's wife, Hayley Thompson, was seen posing for a picture with a fan wearing a jersey with the number 61 and a nameplate that reads, "LTIR." It is an obvious reference to Stone's LTIR history, something the team has been criticized for.

I wish I was joking folks. 😳

Combined, the two posts generated more than half a million views. Mark Stone has been the subject of a lot of skepticism this season after another year where he went on LTIR just before the trade deadline only to return for game one of the playoffs. This has become a pattern for Stone whether it is intentional or not. In each of the last three seasons he has gone on LTIR right around the trade deadline and returned to hockey either at the very end of the regular season or at the beginning of the playoffs. NHL insider Frank Serravalli likened the timing to that of a high-end watch.
Precision timing that would make @Rolex jealous.
Vegas' use of LTIR has sparked a wider conversation about the system, leading many to believe the rules should be changed. It will be interesting to see if the collective bargaining agreement gets amended over the summer.
