The Nashville Predators were just minutes away from tying their series against the Vancouver Canucks tonight. However, Canucks forward Brock Boeser put the team on his back, scoring twice in the dying seconds to make the comeback possible.
The veteran Canucks goal-scorer was in peak form tonight as he opened the scored just over two minutes into the game, giving the Canucks the early lead. It felt like an especially important moment considering the fact that the Canucks were down to number three netminder Artus Silvos in net after Casey DeSmith suffered an injury just before the game.

The Predators would eventually tie the game, then take a two-goal lead over the course of the game. However, Boeser would then score with just over 2 minutes left in the game, making it a one-goal contest. It seemed like the Predators would still win though as they had a chance on the empty net, but it remarkably went off the post. Boeser would make them pay for the mistake as he completed the hat trick with less than 7 seconds left, forcing overtime.
BROCK BOESER TIES THE GAME WITH HIS HAT TRICK GOAL!!!!
Overtime would not last long as Canucks trade deadline acquisition Elias Lindholm got a chance all alone in front of the net just 1:02 into the extra frame. He did not miss the opportunity, completing the unlikely comeback for Vancouver.
