John Chayka isn't finished retooling Toronto's roster, and two players could be dealt before training camp opens.

John Chayka wasted no time reshaping the Toronto Maple Leafs this offseason, and he's reportedly not finished.
The rookie general manager is said to be open to moving defenceman Philippe Myers and forward Dakota Joshua before training camp gets underway.
Myers has fallen way down the depth chart in Toronto.
With Darren Raddysh entrenched on the right side, Emil Andrae able to slide in on either side, and prospect Ben Danford turning heads during the Marlies' Calder Cup run, there just isn't a clear path to NHL minutes for him anymore.
Some believe Myers has already asked out.
He's got one year left on his contract at $850,000, making him an easy summer casualty for a team looking to clear space.

Why Joshua could also be on the move

Joshua is in a tougher spot. He's owed $3.2 million per season through next year and holds a 12-team no trade clause, which limits where Chayka can send him if a deal comes together.
His first year in Toronto didn't go as planned.
He flashed his physical edge at times but couldn't find consistent secondary scoring, and with the Leafs already over the salary cap and Max Domi's status uncertain, a bottom six job isn't guaranteed.

Chayka still building around Matthews

Chayka has already added several depth forwards this summer, which only adds to the logjam Joshua now finds himself in.
The picture is becoming clearer.
Toronto is going for it over the next two seasons, and part of that means clearing space and making sure the roster fits together the right way.
Auston Matthews becomes extension eligible next July, and Chayka wants everything aligned before then.
Keep an eye on Toronto over the next few weeks.
More moves could be coming before puck drop.
