Camera catches Auston Matthews' funny actions before being ejected

The Toronto Maple Leafs game on Saturday night against the Buffalo Sabres was one for the books. It had everything Leaf fans could have hoped for, including Auston Matthews' 60th goal of the season. The crowd, even though it was in Buffalo, was buzzing for the Leafs, and MVP chants went through the arena after Matthews' became the only active player to have multiple 60-goal seasons in the NHL.

That wasn't all, though, as Matthews and 4 of his teammates were all ejected in the final minutes of the game after a line brawl broke out. Before he was tossed, though, Matthews was caught on camera cleaning up the scattered equipment that was the result of the line brawl. Take a look at the hilarious video below.

It's not every day that you see the best goal scorer in the world cleaning up after his teammates, as that job is usually delegated to rookies on the team. However, this shows Matthews' true character as a leader and a teammate.

Matthews will look to add to his goal total tonight when the Leafs take on the Florida Panthers in one of their bigger tests before the playoffs begin.
