Seattle Kraken head coach makes comment on Shane Wright's future in Seattle
The Seattle Kraken's new head coach Dan Bylsma makes a bold statement on the future of Shane Wright in Seattle.
In a recent interview, newly appointed Seattle Kraken head coach Dan Bylsma made a comment on Kraken prospect Shane Wright, and it is safe to say he is a big fan of the promising prospect.
«I think this year served as a great opportunity for him to establish himself as a player,» Byslma said. «Just put his head down, play 72 games, play playoff games, and work on his game and develop as a person and as a player. I think that's clearly evident. It was great to see his progression throughout the year.»
Wright was selected 4th overall in the 2022 NHL draft despite being the favoruite to go 1st. He fell four spots and has yet to make an impact in the NHL despite the opinion of public scouts. This year can finally be the year that the Ontario native can make his breakthrough in the NHL after spending a full season in the AHL with the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
