Kyle Dubas continues to embarrass himself as Penguins GM
The Pittsburgh Penguins are off to a rocky start this NHL off-season, and fans are starting to lose faith in GM Kyle Dubas. After a lackluster end with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Dubas took the reins in Pittsburgh, but his impact has been underwhelming.
Last summer's trade for Erik Karlsson failed to yield a playoff berth, and this year's free agency has seen only two significant signings: Anthony Beauvillier and Blake Lizzotte.
Kyle Dubas' lack of signings worrying to fans
A recent behind-the-scenes video released by the Penguins' social media team hasn't helped Dubas' case. The footage shows a lack of enthusiasm and excitement from the GM, which doesn't inspire confidence in the fanbase. Despite this, there is still hope for a turnaround. The Penguins' veteran core and potential links to star players like Vladimir Tarasenko could be the key to changing their fortunes.
However, as things stand, Dubas seems to be struggling, reminiscent of his final days with the Maple Leafs. The upcoming season will be crucial for Dubas to prove his worth and regain the trust of Penguins fans.
