New York Rangers fans have mixed reactions to JT Miller being named team captain following the team's official announcement.

This move comes just months after the Rangers reacquired Miller from the Vancouver Canucks in a trade for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini, and a first-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.
