Lee clearly targeted the knee of New Jersey captain Nico Hischier in an incredibly dirty way, something his teammates, especially Timo Meier took immediate exception too. Lee was given a match penalty and ejected from the game immediately, and unsurprisingly, it's likely that he will face the wrath of the NHL's Department of Player Safety.

The NHL certainly haven't been lenient on plays they think are unnecessary or intentional as of late, and looking at the footage, it appears completely clear that the 33-year old was targeting Hischier's knee.
