New Jersey Devils Community Mourning After Tragic Passing of Two Beloved Fans
Two fans of the New Jersey Devils tragically lost their lives as they made their way home from a game, getting hit by a reckless group of teenagers speeding.
They were traveling back home from the Jets vs. Devils game at the Prudential Center when their lives were senselessly cut short by the irresponsible actions of a group of teenagers speeding in an oncoming vehicle.
Both passengers in the back seat, Krista, twin sister of Kiley, and boyfriend Ryan, were badly injured and are in critical condition in the hospital. They, while badly injured, are said to be in good spirits.
The families put out a statement in which they were thankful for all of the support they're receiving from fans, but there still are many fans who are very devastated.
"The Armstrong, Fiore, and Chapman families would like to send our sincerest appreciation and thank for all the love and support to everyone near and far who are behind us during this devastating situation. We have a long road ahead of us, but all of the love and support is giving us the strength to continue. Xoxo."
During this wholly trying period, the Chapman, Armstrong, and Fiore families would appreciate your support.
A GoFundMe has been created to assist in paying for the funeral and memorial services for Evan and Kiley and Krista and Ryan's medical expenses. If you can, please make a donation by clicking on the link below.
Let this serve as a wake-up call of the devastation that can be caused by irresponsible decisions. Be careful with others and exercise good sense before making decisions that can endanger innocent lives.
