It's going to be the first game that Matheson is unable to play in so far this year. He has 16 points (4G, 12A) and is averaging almost 25 minutes a game.
It's a significant loss for the Canadiens on the back end, and it will be up to the remaining healthy Montreal blue liners to carry the load while Matheson recovers from his injury.
