The Fate Of Multiple Goaltenders Around The League Lays In Marc-Andre Fleury's Arms
Marc-Andre Fleury is nearing the end of his career and could go out with a bang by deciding the fate of numerous goaltenders around the league.
Fleury's Status At The Trade Deadline Will Dictate How Other Teams Approach Goaltending
The 32 Thoughts podcast is known as arguably the best spot to get insider information surrounding the NHL consistently. In the most recent episode, Elliotte Friedman revealed some major news surrounding Minnesota Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury.
General talk on some goalie trade talk. Mention Kaapo Kahkonen. Elliotte says MA Fleury's status will determine what happens to some other goalies. Fleury, if available at the trade deadline, will likely be the best cost-effective goaltender on the market. He has a NMC but would likely waive it if the fit is right.
Fleury has been solid all season posting a .900 sv% and a 2.91 GAA on a weak Minnesota Wild team. He may not have another full season left in the tank but he certainly has another deep playoff run left and will try to win the Stanley Cup if he can.
