Despite no longer playing for the Boston Bruins, Brad Marchand has entered a partnership with a well-known Boston-based beverage company.

The Boston Bruins made the difficult decision to deal longtime forward and captain Brad Marchand to the divisional foe Florida Panthers at the Trade Deadline.
Marchand joins a Panthers team that is not only the defending Cup champions, but who have their eyes set on a repeat performance.
But just because he's no longer with the Bruins, that doesn't mean he's forgotten his time in Boston.
Marchand has partnered with popular Boston-based beverage company Samuel Adams for a limited-release beer known as Marchand(y), a new take on the popular shandy version of beer.
Samuel Adams head of brand Lauren Price released the following statement on the partnership with the ex-Bruins captain:
Brad Marchand truly embodies the heart of Boston sports-grittiness, skills, and always showing up when it counts. His blend of elite performance, passion, and relentless drive to perfect his craft makes him a natural fit for Samuel Adams. He's built a lasting legacy here in Boston, and we're proud to partner with Brad, who represents the spirit of our city so well. Boston will miss him!

Marchand himself released the following statement:
Being the captain of the Boston Bruins was the greatest honor of my life, and I am proud to team up with Samuel Adams on the Marchand(y) as a tribute to my time in this city. I will always be a Bostonian at heart, and I hope that fans will enjoy this beer to celebrate the 16 unforgettable years I spent wearing this jersey.

Marchand, who has yet to play with the Panthers thanks to an injury, has 47 points (21G, 26A) in 61 games this year.
