Hyman, Nugent-Hopkins and Walman are out for Edmonton against Utah tonight, Levi starts in goal, and Jason Dickinson limped off practice.
The Edmonton Oilers will be missing some big names tonight when the Utah Mammoth visit Rogers Place.
Puck drop is 7 p.m. local time.
Edmonton comes in at 5-0-1 after finishing a perfect three-game California trip, and it's the only team in the league without a regulation loss.
Utah shows up at 5-2-0.
Hyman hasn't played since the opener, a 6-5 overtime loss to Vancouver, though he did return to practice last Friday.
Nugent-Hopkins hurt his lower body at the end of practice the day before that opener and remains on injured reserve.
Walman blocked a shot against Anaheim and has dealt with an upper-body injury ever since, which means he'll miss a third straight game.
Dickinson's practice scare
Then there's Jason Dickinson, who limped off the ice halfway through practice.
The update didn't say how serious it is.
It's a worry for a lineup already thin up front.
That matters because Nugent-Hopkins, another centre, is already on the shelf.
Dickinson only got back recently after tweaking an ankle in training camp, and he's been centering a line with Filip Hallander and Kasperi Kapanen.
Levi keeps the net
Levi has been a bright spot, winning all four of his starts so far.
Edmonton also has Tristan Jarry on the roster, but Levi has the net again tonight.
Utah sits atop the Central Division, so the depth players stepping in will have to carry real weight.
Edmonton has dealt with injuries all season and kept winning anyway.
Utah is a tough team to test that against, and the two clubs meet again Saturday in Utah.
