The officiating in Game's 2 and 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals was sub-par to say the least, and after the game, Oilers Coach Kris Knoblauch was happy to call it out.

The Edmonton Oilers started the Stanley Cup Finals with a bang, but since that point they've lost two straight, now staring down the barrel of a must-win Game 4 in Florida as they look to save the series from going to 3-1 in favour of the Panthers.
While the Panthers have played incredibly well in the last two games, it's safe to say that the officiating has been sub-par at best, and while Head Coach Kris Knoblauch didn't call out their work in Game 3, he certainly used a compliment as a chance to take a shot at them for their struggles late in Game 2.
"I think the referees did an outstanding job tonight and they even caught the too many men penalty in the first, which was too many men... I just wish they had been calling it in game 2 in overtime."
While Knoblauch commended the officials for getting some calls right in Game 3, he used it as a way to criticize for missing an obvious penalty in Game 2, one that allowed the Panthers to capitalize and even the series at 1-1.
If Knoblauch won't call them out for Game 3, the Oilers fans on social media certainly would, as there were plenty of soft calls going against Edmonton in what ended up as a major blowout victory for Florida on home ice.
Specifically, it was Wes McCauley taking plenty of criticism, as he has often been labelled as one of, if not the worst official the league has ever seen, with some of his shock decisions making an impact on this game.
Ultimately, the Oilers were thoroughly outplayed in Game 3, falling 6-1 in what was another blowout between these two teams after two thrilling OT finishes to start the series, but if the officiating doesn't improve for both teams, it's safe to say that the NHL may have a problem on their hands.
