'It suits me': Connor McDavid makes confident comments after hot stretch
Edmonton Oilers superstar captain Connor McDavid is on fire in December, and he recently said that he believes the upcoming schedule for his team will be beneficial for him.
Edmonton Oilers superstar captain Connor McDavid is putting the rest of the National Hockey League on notice thanks to his scorching hot December, letting his opponents know that his best days are not behind him.
So far in December, McDavid is on fire with 31 points (12G, 19A). He's on pace to reach 144 points, which would be his highest output since scoring 153 points in 2022-23.
After they beat the divisional foe Calgary Flames on Tuesday night, McDavid pointed out what he thinks best suits him, and it's Edmonton's upcoming schedule.

McDavid also recently silenced doubters who believed that he was on the verge of leaving Edmonton, who took him with the first overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
Earlier this season, McDavid agreed to a two year contract extension, ensuring that he would remain in an Oilers sweater through at least 2028.
Connor McDavid Had Five Assists In Edmonton's 5-1 Win Over The Flames
On the last game before the holiday break, the Oilers beat the divisional foe Calgary Flames 5-1 at Rogers Place.
McDavid had five assists, and his fellow star teammate Leon Draisaitl had a hat trick.
Zach Hyman had three points (1G, 2A) as part of the win.
Speaking of Edmonton's schedule, they'll play the Flames once again, but this time at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary on Saturday night.
