Nathan MacKinnon Calls Out Avalanche Fans for Booing the Team

Colorado Avalanche star forward Nathan MacKinnon called out fans of the team after their S/O loss to the Dallas Stars for their booing during the game, which he clearly didn't like.
The Colorado Avalanche once again lost against the divisional foe Dallas Stars on Saturday, following their painful 7 game loss last year in the WCQF.
Avalanche star forward Nathan MacKinnon clearly did not appreciate the fans at Ball Arena booing him and his teammates during a PP opportunity, and called them out after the 5-4 S/O loss.
He was asked how he felt about Colorado's performance on the PP, and he said that he thought it was good and that the fans must not know what an effective PP looks like.
I thought it was really good tonight, really good, a lot of great chances. I know we were getting booed, I guess they don't really know what a good power play looks like.
The Avalanche did pick up a PPG during the game, so MacKinnon sarcastically encouraged the fans to boo even more.
We had a ton of chances and nothing was going in, and we finally got one, so I guess they gotta boo us more.
Calling out fans who spend hard-earned money to watch their favourite teams is never a good idea, and for MacKinnon to accuse the fans of not knowing what a good PP looks like isn't the best of looks for him.
Former Avalanche Star Mikko Rantanen Burned His Old Team Again
It was last year that the Avalanche stunned their fans by trading Rantanen to the Carolina Hurricanes, who later sent him to the divisional foe Dallas Stars.
Rantanen was instrumental in the Stars postseason win over the Avalanche, scoring a hat trick in the deciding Game 7 in Dallas.
Rantanen then haunted the Avalanche again on Saturday night, scoring in the shootout.
