Connor Bedard was given a 10-minute major for the second time this week on Saturday, and now Blackhawks fans are calling him out on social media.
For the second time in as many games, Connor Bedard was given a 10-minute major, and while it certainly wasn't a justified one, this is a trend that Chicago Blackhawks fans certainly won't be enjoying.
On his way down the tunnel, Bedard showed his frustration by throwing his helmet, and with the lack of talent around him and the lack of a future on this team, one has to be worried about how this team have handled No. 98's development at the NHL level thus far.
Unfortunately, these issues are now seemingly rubbing the fanbase in Chicago the wrong way, as several fans took to social media on Saturday night after the ejection to call out the Blackhawks young superstar.
This is certainly an interesting way to react from supposed fans of the team, as Bedard has been incredibly hard done by on both of the 10-minute major calls, so it's hard to blame him for the way he reacted on both occasions.
Given the way NHL officials call other young stars in the league, the way that they have handled Bedard thus far has been nothing short of baffling, and with little help around him, it's easy to see why the frustration continues to show itself.
Ultimately though, this is just as rough stretch for Bedard early in his NHL career, and as the team put more and more talent around him, he'll begin to flourish the way he's shown that he can, but until that happens, he'll need to find a way to deal with some of the calls that he's been getting in a better way.
