Bruins New Addition Maroon Speaks For The First Time
The Boston Bruins made a couple of moves yesterday before the trade deadline. One of those moves was to bring in forward Patrick Maroon. Maroon in the past has had a rocky relationship with announcer Jack Edwards and the Bruins fans. Today he spoke about that relationship and what it is like to be in Boston.
Pat Maroon on joining the #NHLBruins: "It's gonna be fun...I feel like I'm hated here. But no, I'm super excited. Original Six team...I've heard nothing but good things about the locker room. A great opportunity for us to go achieve our goal and accomplish it."
Maroon seems excited despite his complicated relationship with the city of Boston. Maroon brings physicality, veteran leadership, and championship pedigree to the Bruins lineup. Maroon is now making his debut this afternoon against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
