Utah HC officially has its first award winner in franchise history
The Arizona Coyotes were sold to Ryan Smith and he brought the team to Utah where they now have their first award winner in Connor Ingram as he won the Masterton trophy.
It was just announced that Connor Ingram, formerly of the Arizona Coyotes, has won the Bill Masterton trophy.

The Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy is given to the player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey.
Congratulations to Connor Ingram on winning the NHL's Bill Masterton Trophy!
Thank you for your courage and impact on hockey in the desert.
Ingram took over as the Coyotes starter this past season playing in 50 games, starting 48 of them, and posting a 2.91 GAA and a .907 sv% on his way to winning 23 games.
Ingram was ready to retire from hockey at only 23 years old but went to therapy and fought back and has been able to prove himself as an NHL netminder.
Ingram is under contract for two more seasons and is expected to be the starter for the inaugural season in Utah.
