Tonight, reports have confirmed that Vegas Golden Knights forward William Karlsson was rushed to the hospital tonight after an awkward collision with Sean Walker.
The Stanley Cup Finals continued tonight with a crucial Game 5 that could determine the entire momentum of the series.
Midway through the game, Vegas Golden Knights forward William Karlsson went down after an awkward collision along the boards with Hurricanes defenseman Sean Walker.
Karlsson would head to the locker room and be unable to return to the game.
During the game, head coach John Tortorella was seen receiving the news of Karlsson's injury and looking visibly upset.
After the game, Tortorella spoke to the media and confirmed that Karlsson was taken to the hospital as a result of his injuries.

During his post game press conference, Tortorella confirmed that Karlsson was taken to the hospital for treatment and was unlikely to return during the Stanley Cup Finals.
This is a huge loss for the Golden Knights as Karlsson has been a key part of their forward group and as a veteran leader in the locker room.
With Karlsson out, the Golden Knights will need to rely even more heavily on Jack Eichel and the top line to produce offensively as they look to hold off elimination.
Now, the Golden Knights will have to put this disappointing loss in the rear view mirror and focus on keeping their season alive to force a winner take all game seven.
