Sergei Bobrovsky missing from Florida Panthers practice: Injured?
The Florida Panthers have played Sergei Bobrovsky in every single game thus far on their run to the Stanley Cup Final and now he is missing from practice ahead of the biggest game of his life.
One of the main reasons why the Florida Panthers have gone on such a deep playoff run is because Sergei Bobrovsky is in the net. After going up 3-0 on the Edmonton Oilers, Bobrovsky seemingly hit a wall which led to the Panthers dropping three straight forcing a game seven tomorrow.
Today, it was announced that Bobrovsky was not at practice, the reason has yet to be announced.
Oddly, Sergei Bobrovsky is not one of the two goalies warming up before the Panthers' practice, scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
Anthony Stolarz and Spencer Knight are out there.
Bobrovsky is usually the first one on the ice, well before this, on a practice day. We now await word from head coach Paul Maurice on whether or not Bobrovsky is hurt and if he is sitting out by his own choice.
More details to come.
