With that news dropping, a Colorado insider has speculated that The Salt Lake City team and the Colorado Avalanche may move to the Pacific division, while teams like the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames swap to the Central division.
"Hearing that IF Coyotes move to Salt Lake, that Avs MIGHT make a move to Pacific Division with new SLC team and Oilers and Flames might move to Central. A rumor, at this point" Dater said.
