Forward Jesse Puljujarvi, who has played nearly 400 games in the NHL with multiple teams, has signed a new contract in Switzerland with Genève-Servette HC.

It looks as though the time of Jesse Puljujarvi in the NHL has come to a close.
He has signed a contract in Switzerland with Genève-Servette HC.
Team manager Marc Gautschi is looking forward to having Puljujarvi on the ice for his club, saying that they'd been following his career for some time now.
We've been following Jesse Puljujarvi for some time now. Thanks to his physique and speed, he can be dominant on the big Swiss rinks.

Puljujarvi, who was taken 4th overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, started the season playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and had 9 points (3G, 6A) in 25 games before he was placed on waivers in February for the purposes of terminating his contract.
He most recently played in the NHL for the Florida Panthers, getting in 5 games this year before being waived.
He then spent the rest of the year playing for the AHL affiliate Charlotte Checkers, who reached the Calder Cup Final before falling to the Abbotsford Canucks.
He's played in 387 NHL games with the Oilers, Carolina Hurricanes, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Panthers, and has 128 points (58G, 70A).
He's also represented his native Finland on the international stage, helping them win the gold medal at the 2016 World Junior Championships, winning tournament MVP after an impressive performance of 17 points (5G, 12A) in just 7 games.
