Jaromir Jagr is an icon to the sport of hockey and still plays with Kladno and is expected to get hired by Kyle Dubas and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Throughout his NHL career, Jaromir Jagr played for many teams including the Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals, New York Rangers, Philadelphia Flyers, Dallas Stars, Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils, Florida Panthers, and finally the Calgary Flames before returning to Czechia where he plays for Kladno, the team he owns.
It was recently revealed by Rob Rossi of The Athletic that the Pittsburgh Penguins are making a strong push to bring him back to the NHL even if it is in a role that he plays virtually overseas.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are reportedly working on hiring legendary winger Jaromír Jágr to their front office, shares Rob Rossi of The Athletic in an interview with Penguins' President of Business Operations, Kevin Acklin.
Acklin shared that the team is ready to enter a «new chapter» after Jágr's retirement ceremony in February. The team has been working on recruiting Jágr ever since, recently making an extra push while visiting Prague for the World Championship.
Jagr has been rumored to take on a job with the Penguins for a little bit now and likely will wind up with the Penguins once he retires from playing for good.
