NHL insider Elliotte Friedman provides insight on new hockey league named "MLH", Major League Hockey.

Rumoured over the last few months, a new league is taking it's form which can be NHL's newest competitor. MLH, short for Major League Hockey is reportedly a 3v3 league set to take professional standards. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman provided an update regarding the future of the league.

Elliotte Friedman on Major League Hockey:

A couple of NHL players reached out to MLH to find out what's going on with the league.

Expect an announcement during the Stanley Cup Final about MLH.

The company behind the funding is based not in the Middle East, but in Europe.

"Someone told me that there's a player in the final four of the Stanley Cup Playoffs that has reached out about [MLH]"

According to Friedman, NHL players in the final four have reached out in hopes of news and information regarding the new league.

Phil Kessel has reportedly reached out in hopes of potentially playing in such a league.

Contrary to reports, the league is not based in the middle east like once told, instead it is based in Europe.

We might be looking at another big league in the works!
