Calls for Gary Bettman's firing by top NHL agent following disturbing comments
One of the NHL's top player agents, Allan Walsh, wants Garry Bettman fired or to step down, following unacceptable comments he recently made.
Chronic traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) is a very dangerous progressive degeneration of the cells inside the brain following repeated hits to the head area, and Gary Bettman has denied this to be true and doesn't believe it's a problem in the game. These latest comments caught agent Walsh off-guard, and he is fed up and wants Bettman gone immediately, saying he's putting all NHL players at risk with his attitude.

Bill Daly, Bettman's right hand man, seconded Bettman's comments in a further embarrassing move, saying there is no worry for CTE in the NHL.
Bill Daly also denies the link between head hits and CTE, claiming that "the science is lacking."
As if these two men weren't hated already by many, more people have lost a ton of respect for them after they made these statements. The NHL may need to find someone else internally to step up and do something about this, as it doesn't appear the two aforementioned individuals are going to ever care about the players enough to do anything.
