Phil Kessel on the Verge of Signing with the Canucks? An Insider Reveals the Plan
A few weeks ago, Kessel trained in the Canucks' AHL facilities and it really looked like he would sign a deal soon. However, nothing happened, until now.
Chris Johnston reported that Kessel should sign a deal with the Canucks before tomorrow.
"Not trade related, but it sounds like things remain on track for Phil Kessel to sign with the #canucks before tomorrow's 3 p.m. ET trade deadline.
He needs to be on their reserve list by that time in order to be eligible for the Stanley Cup playoffs."
More to come.
