Breaking News out of Vegas after the news broke today that Vegas Golden Knights goalie Robin Lehner was done for the season and needed surgery. Well, we are learning that this might not be the case.
Earlier today, ESPN's Emily Kaplan reported the 30-year-old goaltender is set to undergo season-ending knee surgery.
But we are getting conflicting stories as the Golden Knights head coach Peter DeBoer said
"he still expects Lehner to dress."
When DeBoer was asked about this ''surgery'' he responded:
"Not to my knowledge, It was a maintenance day today. I expect him at practice tomorrow. I expect him dressed on Sunday."
The injury in question to Lehner incurred during a March 8 game against the Philadelphia Flyers. He had attempted to play through it, but Kaplan reports he made the decision to have the procedure now.
stay tuned ladies and gents...
