Washington Capitals new forward DROPS Evander Kane with BIG hit!

The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired Nicolas Aube-Kubel in free agency this offseason, fresh off of winning the Stanley Cup with the Colorado Avalanche.
Just a few days ago the Maple Leafs who have been unable to get him into the lineup, put him on waivers. The Washington Capitals claimed Aube-Kubel off of waivers and just a day later he made his debut for the Capitals against the Edmonton Oilers.
The Capitals were hosting the Edmonton Oilers last night in what turned into an offensive battle, Capitals coming up with the 5-4 win. Aube-Kubel took no time getting himself a favourite to Washington Capitals fans as in one of his first shifts, Evander Kane had the puck inside his own zone and Aube-Kubel lays into him with a hit hit, sending him to the ice:
