After years of being a bottom feeding team, the Detroit Red Wings took a huge step this year after a few years of development and GM Steve Yzerman going heavy in free agency.

Today the Red Wings hosted the New York Islands and young star Lucas Raymond who is still trying to make a name for himself in this league delivered a huge hit to Islanders star Mat Barzal while he was trying to carry the puck into the zone.

The Islanders took exception to this hit and all hell broke loose!
