Dmitry Voronkov, a young star for the Columbus Blue Jackets, isn't happy in the United States and is thinking about going back to Russia to pursue his career in the KHL.
The Columbus Blue Jackets, already struggling this year, could lose one of their top young players for nothing.
Dmitri Voronkov, a skilled Russian forward, made headlines after it was reported that he wasn't enjoying his NHL experience. Allegedly, Voronkov has been in contact with Ak Bars, a team in the KHL.
They are reporting in Russia that #CBJ Dmitri Voronkov does not like life in America. The player is in contact with Ak Bars.
Voronkov's contract contains a clause allowing him to return to the #KHL until the end of December. 🤔
Potential Loss of Voronkov Raises Concerns for the Blue Jackets
The Blue Jackets should address the player's concerns sooner than later if they don't want to see him walk.
