Connor Bedard was almost involved in a tragedy last night as his skates got close to Mark Scheifele's neck area.
Bedard Nearly Slices Scheifele
Last night Connor Bedard was almost involved in one of the scariest scenes imaginable as he almost sliced Winnipeg Jets star Mark Scheifele with his skate. After Scheifele tripped the 2023 first-overall pick, Bedard's skates got awfully close to Scheifele's neck and it looked to be mere inches away from tragedy.

As Bedard was going down and trying to shoot the puck, both skates got close to Scheifele's neck. Thankfully, everybody was alright and the teams resumed the game as if nothing happened.
Bedard Brings Home The Win Versus Winnipeg
Aside from this play, Connor Bedard had quite an eventful night for the Blackhawks as he scored two goals in a 2-1 victory against the Winnipeg Jets.
The rookie is currently up to 15 goals and 32 points through his first 34 NHL games. He is far and away the Blackhawks' top offensive talent and looks like the future of the NHL.
