SCARY situation in Florida

We play a physical game and with physicality comes injury once and awhile and tonight in Florida in a game between the Panthers and Dallas Stars, Star goaltender Scott Wedgewood has suffered a very serious injury.

During the second period Wedgewood suffered an injury that kept him down for several minutes and forced him out on a stretcher.

Wedgewood went to make a save, and immediately went down grabbing his back in pain.

Parademics were called and the trainers and team doctors all rushed onto the ice to help. He was eventually loaded onto the stretcher and removed from the ice.
