Russian teenage ice hockey star Valentin Rodionov has been placed in a medically induced coma after he fainted on the bench during a game for his team, MHC Dynamo Moscow, on Sunday.
The 16-year-old lost consciousness during the game against HC CSKA Moscow, after he returned to the bench after his shift and was rushed to the hospital were he underwent emergency surgery upon his arrival.
Our thoughts are with Valentin as we hope he makes a full recovery.
