Rangers place defenseman on waivers

The New York Rangers have placed defenseman Jarred Tinordi on waivers as of 2 pm today.
Tinordi has only played 7 games this season and has add 1 goal, while being a -5 on the season. The 29-year old Tinordi is playing with his 4th NHL team after stints in Montreal, Nashville and Boston.
Tinordi signed a 2-year deal with the Rangers with a cap hit of $900,000. If Tinordi clears it's likely he will be assigned to the taxi squad.
