Rangers Captain Is Already Delivering Dirty Hits To Top Devils Forwards
The Rangers and Devils rivalry is expected to go to new heights in 2023-24 with both teams looking for big time playoff runs, and unsurprisingly, things have got started in the pre-season.
Once again, at the center of it all is Rangers captain
Jacob Trouba, who delivered a booming hit to
Tyler Toffoli in their recent pre-season matchup, there's just one problem.
That hit wasn't exactly clean, as Trouba caught Toffoli when his back was turned, and while no penalty was given on the play, it's safe to say that this is one that the Devils will remember all season long.
A big year for both teams
The Devils were understandably furious with the call, as they believed this was a penalty, and with the physicality that Trouba has shown them over the past year, this will take the rivalry up another notch.
While the Rangers have the physical edge, the Devils are expected to be one of the most exciting teams in the league this year, and with so many good teams in the East, this is bound to be a great season all around.
