Radko Gudas May Force Rule Change After Controversial Game Five Scene
Former player thinks NHL will instill new rule amid apparent interference from Gudas on series-winning goal.
Gudas May Force Rule Change
On the series-winning goal last night by
Nick Cousins,
Radko Gudas played a major role. Gudas interfered with Leafs forward
Calle Jarnkrok's stick by holding it preventing Jarnkrok from defending the puck.
Former NHL goalie, Martin Biron, believes that this play will be integral in a rule change to come next season.
With former players saying that the league should crack down on this type of play, it should be expected to see an officiating change.
While the Leafs were somewhat cheated this season, hopefully, the league can try to do better based on recent current mistakes.
