This deal, if it goes through, would be the biggest trade of the season undoubtedly. Nylander and Keller are both stars in their own regard and could eventually blossom into the perfect trade partners.
Putting Nylander and Keller head to head there are many similarities to be seen. First off, both are right wings which means if they are swapped they would just assume the role of where their counterpart currently plays.
Keller is under contract for just over $7 million for the next few seasons while Nylander is demanding an extension. This combined with Keller producing on a far weaker team and him being younger makes Keller the more valuable of the two but Toronto could part with the necessary assets to make this deal work.
