REPORT: Surprise team making a huge play for Coyotes Jakob Chychrun

Chychrun is 24 years old, and while he didn't have the best offensive numbers last year, he is only one season removed from a 18 goal 41 point season in 56 games as a Arizona Coyote.

Chychrun has 3 years left on a contract that pays him $4,600,000, which is incredibly friendly for a contending team without cap space.

This offseason the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs have been heavily connected to Chychrun, but neither have been able to get a deal done thus far. But during the draft, a new team entered the sweepstakes and that team is the Buffalo Sabres.
