REPORT: SURPRISING news for Montreal Canadiens on top prospect Juraj Slafkovsky
Thursday night the Montreal Canadiens took on the Buffalo Sabres in the prospect tournament, and while it did not knock him down, first overall pick and Canadiens top prospect Juraj Slafkovsky took a huge hit that apparently did some damage and kept him out of the game the following night against the New Jersey Devils.

The Devils announcer team then announced that Slafkovsky would miss the remainder of the rookie tournament, which many began to speculate was due to injury after this big hit.
Good news for the Habs though, it looks like the Montreal Canadiens top 2 prospects will be in the game on Sunday to take on the Ottawa Senators.

The big bodied Slafkovsky may not be the quickest, but he is working hard in the corners and has looked good so far in his one game of the tournament.
