The Pittsburgh Penguins were not happy with how they finished their season. Despite all their star players still producing at elite levels, they missed the playoffs after failing to beat the Chicago Blackhawks and Columbus Blue Jackets in their final 2 games.
The day after their season ended, the Penguins cleaned out their entire upper management staff.
A shake up is coming in Pittsburgh, and that could mean more than just management.
Paul Bissonnette, a former enforcer in the NHL, now turned Analyst, thinks that Sidney Crosby will be trade, and will be traded to a team one of his friends plays on:
Crosby has 2 years remaining on a contract that carries a cap hit of $8,700,000, so that will not be easy for the Avalanche to fit in, but if they believe that Crosby can continue to help them compete for Stanley Cup these next two seasons, they could just be enticed to do it.
