Last night the Toronto Maple Leafs were taking on the Dallas Stars and with just under 13 minutes remaining in the game, the Dallas Stars scored a goal, which was initially called off for goaltender interference.
The play was challenged, reviewed, and deemed no interference. Good goal.
These reviews have not been going in the Maple Leafs favour lately, especially when you look back to their last game against the Coyotes.
After game while being interviewed by reporters, Marner said:
I don't know the rules anymore. I don't make them. It's complicated.
While I think we can all agree that there is quite a bit of inconsistency with the reviews, especially when it comes to goaltender interference, but I can see why the Maple Leafs are beginning to get upset.
