REPORT: Marc-Andre Fleury taking a 'leave of absence' from Minnesota Wild after BAD game

One of the best goalies in the NHL since he entered the league has been Marc-Andre Fleury. He has a been a dominant goaltender everywhere he has went and is just one of those guys that everyone loves.

Last night the Minnesota Wild were playing the Buffalo Sabres, which ended as a 6-5 overtime win for the Sabres.

When a team scores 5 goals, that usually enough for a team to leave with a victory, but Fleury last night was disgusted with his performance and had a little melt down after the game, cursing and throwing things.

According to Minnesota Wild's insider Michael Russo, these issues are running deeper than just on the ice with Fleury.

Never seen a goalie beat himself up like Fleury. He's slamming things, apologizing to teammates, cursing, saying 5 goals should be a win every time

I can tell you, MAF has been dealing with a deep personal matter the last week and is leaving #mnwild    tonight til Tuesday

This issue is apparently something Fleury has been dealing with for awhile:
