Jordan Binnington has developed a reputation as a hot head, and lately he has been making some controversial plays that have caught quite a bit of media attention. He has become the goaltender version of Brad Marchand, and while the media loves this stuff, players definitely do not.

One of the funniest moments was in the 2022 PLayoffs where he threw a water bottle at Nazem Kadri during an interview.
Recently we have seen some players like against Jordan Staal where he went to hit Staal, but Staal ended up just plowing over him.
Then the next game against the Pittsburgh Penguins he hit Jason Zucker in the face with his glove as he was skating behind the net, sending him to the ice in pain. Later in that same game he was pulled after allowing a goal, and he went to the Penguins bench to confront the entire team.
These are just things you do not do.
Even St. Louis Blues head coach has had enough of his antics as he called him out in a post-game press conference to just ''stop the puck.''
Apparently Binnington believes he is ''wasting his time'':
«It just gets frustrating over a period of time where it's the same thing that you're seeing and you expect things to be different. I'm not here to waste my f—ing time every game. It's the NHL. Let's go!»

It's been quite a few years since the Blues have won the cup, and Binnington's personal stats definitely have not been anywhere near the level they were at in the Cup run, so he really does not have any merit to back up his comments.
